They are not painful at all. They are the same as a normal ultrasound carried out by your doctors office =]
That person is a lunatic lol.
All the best xx
That’s funny! No, not painful at all, no worries. It’s just like any other ultrasound, they put the little instrument up against your belly and move it around so you can see your baby. The whole experience is exactly the same as any other ultrasound, except the picture you see is amazing and obviously in 3d and color.
Not generally. I’m speaking from my 21 week, 45 min ultrasound and I was a little sore after. Just because it was so long and near the end she was pressing really hard on my belly to try and see the sex of the baby. But the tech was new, I don’t think a more experience tech would be so rough.
It doesn’t really hurt, just a little sore after. Don’t worry about it
Overall no. There can be some discomfort with ultrasounds I think, when they tech pushes hard to get a better view of the baby, but that’s all.
Not painful at all. It’s a regular ultrasound, only difference is that the image is in 3D. Don’t worry, and drinks lots of liquid to get a clear picture of your baby. Congrats!
hahaha sorry it made me laugh lol, no its not painfull its exactly the same as a normal ultrasound that they do at the hospital so no its not painfull at all good luck i wanted one done but couldnt afford it
nope it is just on your tummy
nope not painful…its the same as a 2d…they were probably talking about the one where they stick this probe or something in your vagina, but I’ve had it done an it didn’t hurt it was just pressure an more uncomfortable than anything!
It shouldn’t hurt at all!!! I think whoever answered either didn’t know what they were talking about, was teasing, or was having some sort of other health issue that necessitated the ultrasound with the pain coming from that and not the ultrasound.
DON’T WORRY. It shouldn’t feel ANY different than a normal ultrasound.
Maybe they used an internal probe for the 3D on this other person and it was uncomfortable? In that case, it’s just like a dildo (sounds crude, but it’s an accurate description – sorry)
I’ve had them done that way, esp early in my preg and that in particular doesn’t hurt at all. (no ultrasound should hurt!)
NO!!! not at all!! you poor thing you were probably all worried!
Its not even uncomfortable actually, the gel is cold on your belly but that’s about it!
Good luck
No not painful at all. They are just like a normal ultrasound. It can be uncomfortable with a full bladder only because they apply a little bit of pressure but that’s it. They just put some warm gel all over your belly and rub the little thing all over the place and take pictures. If you have heard the heartbeat threw doppler it feels the same way.
i know hun i read that question and i gave him thumbs down. it was an a** hole who answer that just to get the points, so dont worry , because it’s not painful at all… Good luck!!
