Ok so im around 23 weeks pregnant based on my first scan. My dates from my last period would make my due date the 9th of november and i believe that to be the around about date (anywhere from the 7-11 nov) as we had sex the 3 days i was ovulating and then only 2 mores time that month which was about 8 days before period was due and then again 3 days before i was supposed to start my period.

this is where it starts to get a bit complicated, but try follow along

I took a pregnancy test 2 days before my period was due as i had a feeling that i was pregnant and had done for a while, and yep it was positive. I went to the drs and tested and it came back positive. He gave me the date the 9th november based on period dates. He gave me a form for a scan but said to wait about 4 weeks, so i did.

When i went for the scan i believed i was 7 weeks exactly. He said i was only about 5 weeks 3 days and changed my due date to the 18th noevmber. But that would mean when i tested i would have been like 1 week pregnant, maybe 2.

Anyway i went for my anatomy scan at 18 weeks and i had the same person doing the scan. He took measurements and every single measurement he took measured 2 weeks bigger than my EDD given by the first scan. The results went to my midwife and she said that second trimester scans are not all that accurate and that the due date wouldnt be changed. I have felt everything rather early in this pregnancy eg kicks at 15 weeks, but if EDD was still the 9th it would have made me 17 weeks. I know this is second pregnancy so things happened earlier but i cant help but think that my due date is wrong
