i am sick and tired of “privacy activists”worried about full body scans at airports.first and foremost should ALWAYS be the safety of people.the person or people who actually view the scans are nowhere near where the actual scan is taking place,so in effect the people don’t know whose body they are viewing.flying is NOT a right.it is a service, and an optional form of travel.if you don’t like it take a boat, bus, train or car.my question is who agrees with this view and who opposes this view and why.?just for a final thought i would be willing to bet that the same people opposed the the scans would be the first to point the finger at someone else if the next bomber succeeds

Never had a full body scan but I have been searched at the airport and it’s embarrassing. Once I was asked if I had an under-wire in my bra that would set off their wand. This was in front of everyone, not a secluded room. They just had me walk to a separate area.

Although I think that it is important to have security measures intact, I think sometimes they are a bit extreme because the searches are random and while you’re searching someone that isn’t a potential risk, someone that is could be casually walking right by.

I don’t really have a strong opinion. I just know that flying is a pain these days and unless you’re going overseas sometimes not even worth the hassle.
