Once I was asked if I had an under-wire in my bra that would set off their wand. This was in front of everyone, not a secluded room. They just had me walk to a separate area. Although I think that it is important to have security measures intact, I think sometimes they are a bit extreme because the searches are random and while you're searching someone that isn't a potential risk, someone that is could be casually walking right by. I don't really have a strong opinion. I just know that flying is a pain these days and unless you're going overseas sometimes not even worth the hassle.
