I have a HP PSC 1401 printer/scanner/copier. It has problems with printing, but I haven’t used the scanner in a few years. I plugged it in and into my computer and put the picture in the right spot and hit scan, but nothing happened. Help? Thank you!
I’m and trying to scan a picture and I don’t know what software I need to scan pictures to my computer.
I have am running the Windows Vista OS if that helps thanks 
idk if anyone has heard abt it yet or not but i just found out abt 5 minutes ago and its a virus that is supposed to cause total havoc to your computer and its set to unleash on april fools day…now i’m not very tech savvy but i was worried abt my comp since it took me 4 months to save for…so i scanned my computer asap and i was wondering…ok i did have norton 360 and it expired but i looked n my settings and it says i have windows defender up and its supposed to protest from spyware and malware and i have my firewall up so i scanned w/windows defender and it said my computer was working normally…..so should i still worry or is my computer protected?? plz help
I want to buy a computer to use at home & I want to assemble it. I meant to say that I want to build my own PC, by installing parts of my choice. I want to get the best & the latest & yet cheap. I want to use it for Internet, Entertainment, like Games, Music, Movies & office work etc, an ideal PC for home users.

I can scan a photo to the computer but when I try to do text it goes into photo format and I can’t edit it.
I keep finding plenty of free downloads but as soon as I download and scan my computer it tells me I need to pay to buy it before I can fix all the problems. Does anyone know where I can get a completely free scan software?
My boss is constantly handing me long lists of items to put in excel format. Every time I try to scan it the document is mispelled nad has incorrect characters. Is there a way to scan and put the entire document in excel without manually trping it?
I have a HP photosmart all in one printer/scanner/copier and im trying to scan an old picture that was taken by a desposable camera onto my mac, i put the picture in and pressed scan and it said the usb was not connected but i have everything plugged in. anyone know whats wrong?

By the way, I suspect that my computer is infected with trojan virus, what should I do? Let me elaborate, Wikipedia sent me a message for editing the articles with lack of information or just bull crap but I did not even edit a single of it! In addition, I know that I’m able to scan the files before downloading it but how do I do it? Mine is Mac OS X. Does Sophos Anti-Virus works? Please Help!!!
