I have a HP PSC 1401 printer/scanner/copier. It has problems with printing, but I haven’t used the scanner in a few years. I plugged it in and into my computer and put the picture in the right spot and hit scan, but nothing happened. Help? Thank you!
I have windows vista on my Acer Extensa 5420, and I have a HP Photosmart C4280 printer with a C4200 #6 scanner.
I have about 200 pages to scan, and it takes really long to scan each page. I need to scan each one as fast as possible. I am trying to edit the settings but the vista settings make it very tedious and annoying to modify the speed.
I know when I had this printer/scanner hooked up to an old dell with windows XP I could change it where the scanner scans the image in black and white and it came out so much faster.

when i scan to microsoft word it comes up in code… how can i fix this? thanks in advance
When I open my HP Director to scan Document, I get the choices of scan to : (1) save to file (2) to E-mail (3) to word pro. Nothing says scan to CD.
I can scan a photo to the computer but when I try to do text it goes into photo format and I can’t edit it.
Everytime i try to scan something, the part that is touching the screen comes in clear, but everything that isnt comes in real blurry. Is there anyway i can scan these things so that the whole object is clear?
I have a HP photosmart all in one printer/scanner/copier and im trying to scan an old picture that was taken by a desposable camera onto my mac, i put the picture in and pressed scan and it said the usb was not connected but i have everything plugged in. anyone know whats wrong?

I have Adobe and I need to send some papers to my friend in another state, she said pdf format is better. How do I do that?? (I don’t have it as a document, I have it printed out. She sent them to me and I printed them out as a pdf file and wrote on them, now I need to send them back to her through pdf.) HELP!
