I have reset PMU, checked background processes, screen saver & energy saver settings. I dont have any canon scanning software or hp software installed. I have only keyboard and mouse plugged in. Have also deleted com.apple.serverui(something).plist – nothing helps….any ideas? Its a 2008 rev 8,1
ok i am thinking about buying a mac because windows is starting to annoy me for sum reason anyway does mac osx leopard scan any wireless routers like a windows pc or does it have to be one of those AirPort Extreme things any thanks for the help

Can’t seem to scan the whole image of my 6×6CM positive film from 1945 in my Epson v500 photo, it keeps cropping it. it is square and the scanner makes it a rectangle. I am using a Mac with Leopard. The preview adjustments wont allow me to keep settings I put in. They keep returning to default as soon as I put in custom settings.
I’ve received messenger spam twice now and I’ve read here some yahoo users have encountered this recently. I’m using Leopard as my OS and 90% of the time Adium as my IM client and the account is a MSN messenger account. The other 10% of the time i use Microsoft messenger for mac.
One spam was in Adium and the other in Microsoft messenger. I’ve run ClamXav to scan my system and nothing’s wrong. This seems in line with the fact that there are currently no viruses and spyware targeting Leopard.
Anyone have a similar experience? I don’t know how concerned I should be but my sister once had her Yahoo account stolen and password changed so she couldn’t login.

i have the lastest version of virex as well as the lastest version of leopard on my mac
since i upgraded to leopard virex keeps quitting in the middle of a virus scan
anyone know how to correct this?

I thought I downloaded all the right drivers, but I am unable to get it to scan documents, it tells me something about TWAIN not being able to connect or something like that. Any tips to get it work or should I just buy a newer printer? And if I need to buy a new one which brand is best?
Snow Leopard & More problems. YouTube uploader still does not work. Quick Time X does not work. Photoshop CS3 is not supported!? (IMo this is really wrong!) HP Scan pro does not work. And although you can now control the scanner from Image capture, this does not has the same functionality as the original HP version. Sometimes when you upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, the only obtainable installation alternative might be the Erase and Install. During the installation process, you may come across the following error message:
“You can not install Mac OS X 10.5 on this volume with out changing your installation settings.”
Cause of this issue
