help i need to remove virus from my flash stick and there are important data in my flash stick
I am in ubuntu linux right now. What command do I do to scan and quarantine (not remove) viruses it will find in vista. I need it to scan the whole partition. Using ClamTK only does a folder but non of the sub-folders.
Both with avast and clamAV.
PS: needs to be done in terminal.
I know how to do the mounting part a long time ago. How do I scan the whole thing?
they say linux is the safest OS ever. virus threats are less than windows. and it’s free? where can i download the OS for free? but they also say that some (or many) programs dont work on linux. So, i still wanna have my windows os for running important program, and have linux for the internet. can i have 2 different OSs in my laptop? how? tell me the details please? how do i make another partition for os with partition magic? guide me step by step. Im sick with this sucky windows where i always get spywares and viruses, i have to scan it over and over again, reformat, it’s really frustrating and f-u-c-k-i-n-g annoying (sorry). i always wanna crush my laptop every time it gets slower and slower because of viruses. i want linux. please help me.

AVG, Zone Alarm, Pest Patrol, Adaware, and Spybot S&D could not find VBS.Platnico… I accidently found it by running Klamav in Linux while scanning the Microcrap XP partition.

Searching both google, yahoo, and other search engines only verified its existance. Nothing told how to remove it.
i would like to give u a tip from my guide (for those of you who want to know it will be on the internet email me if you want it for free) i have scanned the linux servers and everything but that is off the subject so my tip is to get your prayer to 31(you can go to the chaos temple in the wilderness to train) then go to the monersary and speak to abbot langsly(or whatever his name is)then he will let u into the guide.then go upstairs using a ladder and collect the bottom part of the monks robe( if you were wondering it would be 50,800 for 100 bottom robes and 508,000 for 1000 which makes way better money than coal)it takes about 40 seconds for the robe to spawn again so play ur xbox 360 or psp while collecting cause it will take a long time. pacientce will be rewarded
