I’ve received messenger spam twice now and I’ve read here some yahoo users have encountered this recently. I’m using Leopard as my OS and 90% of the time Adium as my IM client and the account is a MSN messenger account. The other 10% of the time i use Microsoft messenger for mac.
One spam was in Adium and the other in Microsoft messenger. I’ve run ClamXav to scan my system and nothing’s wrong. This seems in line with the fact that there are currently no viruses and spyware targeting Leopard.
Anyone have a similar experience? I don’t know how concerned I should be but my sister once had her Yahoo account stolen and password changed so she couldn’t login.
