It really irritates me when an older person 50 and up is in the u-scan line because they always need help to use it. It never fails even if they have just one item either they can’t ready the screen, press the icon, move there finger away from the barcode so it will scan. I try to be a patient person but why don’t they just go to the normal line?
So this all started last year, but TSA is really starting to use these scanners now. Basically, they pick people out of the airport security line “at random” and let them choose between going through the body scan (which takes like a minute) or submit to a pat down. You are not taken to a private room for this, it’s done right by the metal detectors. TSA agents view the images and TSA claims all images are immediately deleted after they are viewed.
I feel that there’s a lot of leeway here for misuse. Who is to say the TSA agent calling people out of line isn’t a pervert/pedophile/whatever choosing people who he/she finds attactive or especially ugly or fat? And are there multiple TSA agents sitting there with popcorn chuckling at these people’s naked bodies?
Personally, I think that if there wasn’t such outrage in the beginning, TSA would consider making this body scan mandatory for all travellers. After all, it’s been designed to take less than a minute.
So the questions:
Do you think it’s an invasion of privacy?
Which would you choose, the body scan or the pat down?
If the body scan were made mandatory at some airports, would you go out of your way to avoid those airports? Say there’s another airport an hour away, would you drive to that one instead?
Any other comments?

I just want to know if there is anything wrong,with my baby or something.The guy who did my ultrasound said my baby was healthy,but i cant understand the results i got from the radiology,please help!
FINDINGS:
Their is a live intrauterine singleton pregnancy.The presentation is cephalic.
BPD=80mm
HC=291mm
AC=283mm
FL=58mm
Fetal weight is estimated as 1.8kg +/-15%
Suboptimal views of fetal brain anatomy (cerebellum and lateral ventricle)due to maternal body habitus and fetal position,otherwise no obvious abnormality is found.
Liquor volume is normal.
The placenta is anterior and clear with respect to the internal os.
OPINION:

Fetal size is average for 31 weeks 2 days.However assigning gestational age in the third trimester is less accurate.
The EDD is 18 August 2009+/-2 weeks.
Should i be concerned about any abnormalitie’s or defects.Is this enough proof to show results of having a full healthy baby?I’m kind of worried because my midwife measured my pregnant belly and said i was small

Babie’s heartbeat was fine and his in the right position she said,just the pregnant belly got me stumped and worrying
She just told me i measured smaller..which just got me worrying straight away with no questioning

i live in the u.k and i am finding out the sex of my unborn baby but want to know how many people im allowed to take in with me? i want 3 people maybe 4. but i no when you go to the hospital they get funny and only allow 1 or 2 people. but as im paying for this scan i wounderd if it was different?
I would like for any medical professionals to explain this to me. I answered two questions today from people who had been burned. I build powerful 3D x-ray machines that screen baggage and I understand the slice function. In my research I came across miaderm.com and they purport that they can treat radiation burns and prevent ct burns if applied beforehand. I also saw that oncologists use ct scans with caution. I think this is a good question, be careful with the answer.

Ok, so I know the title was a little vague, but it was either a little vague, or way too long.
Here’s my issue. I’m going to try to explain this the best way I know how. Somehow, a while back, I accidentally downloaded all these different stock images. They were pictures of things like flowers, fruit, and country flags. Well when I realized that I was downloading these I canceled the download. Then, I think they showed up in iPhoto, and I think I just highlighted them all and drug them to the trash.
Naturally, I thought the problem was taken care of.
The thing is though, I’m still seeing these pictures, but I can’t find them on my hard drive, does that make sense? It’s like they just rear their ugly heads at random times. Like for example, I went in to System Preferences because I was going to make all of my photos kick in as a screensaver and when I hit “test” some of those stock images kept popping up in the demo, but they are not in my iPhoto library! Those pictures are obviously still on my hard drive but I don’t know where. And it’s weird because they were sort of attaching themselves to my other pictures in the test. Like, there would be a picture of my own I would recognize in the background and then a giant, pixellated pear. But then when I clicked on that same picture in iPhoto it didn’t have those stock photos attached to them.
These are annoying, because I thought I had already gotten rid of them, and I’m concerned they might be some kind of virus. I currently don’t have any kind of virus scan or spyware blocker either (need to get one but I’m broke). So, can you tell me how to possibly find them and get rid of them?
Any help would be appreciated. Serious answers only please. Thank you in advance!
