    I went to the hospital for something unrelated, and had an Abdominal X-ray and Abdominal CT Scan. Would those show if I was pregnant? I’m very concerned that I may be getting false negatives b/c of low hormones. THANKS!

    And if I “were pregnant” it would be about 13 weeks along… so that should be far enough along to show, right? But unfortunately i’m a very small girl, so i dunno if it would be too small inside to see it. Thanks again!!!

    I just want to know if there is anything wrong,with my baby or something.The guy who did my ultrasound said my baby was healthy,but i cant understand the results i got from the radiology,please help!

    FINDINGS:
    Their is a live intrauterine singleton pregnancy.The presentation is cephalic.
    BPD=80mm
    HC=291mm
    AC=283mm
    FL=58mm
    Fetal weight is estimated as 1.8kg +/-15%
    Suboptimal views of fetal brain anatomy (cerebellum and lateral ventricle)due to maternal body habitus and fetal position,otherwise no obvious abnormality is found.
    Liquor volume is normal.

    The placenta is anterior and clear with respect to the internal os.

    OPINION:
    Suboptimal views of fetal brain anatomy (cerebellum and lateral ventricle)otherwise no obvious abnormality is found.
    Fetal size is average for 31 weeks 2 days.However assigning gestational age in the third trimester is less accurate.
    The EDD is 18 August 2009+/-2 weeks.

    Should i be concerned about any abnormalitie’s or defects.Is this enough proof to show results of having a full healthy baby?I’m kind of worried because my midwife measured my pregnant belly and said i was small :( …please help a girl out.I would be so greatful.Thanks
    Oh yeah forgot to mention that is a scan result of 31 weeks 2 days!
    Babie’s heartbeat was fine and his in the right position she said,just the pregnant belly got me stumped and worrying
    She just told me i measured smaller..which just got me worrying straight away with no questioning

    1st- Did this cause any problems in your pregnancy?

    2nd- Did it prevent you from feeling the first kicks as early?

    3rd- If you had a 3d/4d scan, did it get in the way, as I hear it sometimes does. (I want to get a video/photos done, but not if the placenta will be blocking)

    Thanks so much! (:
    They didn’t say whether it was high or low, but I read that if its low it could turn into placenta previa if it doesn’t move. Is that very common?

    39 week pregnant mum explains the pros and cons of ultrasound scanning during pregnancy. There can be different factors that affect the results of a pregnancy scan. A pregnancy scan is designed to highlight any problems during a pregnancy. The aim of the parents is for everything to be normal. This difference in focus can lead to a conflict of interest. A pregnant mum is scanned more often should there be any question marks around normality. What does this do to the baby and the pregnant mum? The anxiety caused by a questionable scan can leave a mum and dad feeling stressed. Often the abnormalities are corrected with changes during development of foetal life. Scanning can highlight major problems however their accuracy is always down to human interpretation. If you have any concerns about the safety of pregnancy scans please do your research.

    I haven’t been feeling well with headaches, dizziness, light headedness, nausea, weak, and sososo tired!

    I went to my regular doc for these symptoms and he did a neurological exam (same thing as a sobriety test) and sent me to the ER.

    So I went to the ER and they asked me if I could be pregnant. I told them my husband and I have been trying for 7 months but hasn’t worked.

    I told them that my last period was the 24th of November. I ovulate on day 12 of my cycle and I have a 28 day cycle so the soonest a urine exam would show a positive would be in 6 days.

    They took a urine anyways and it came up negative. And they gave me a Cat Scan.

    Could that CAT scan have hurt my baby if I was pregnant and was only about a week along and not even showing enough HCG in my urine?

    New survey!

    How far along are you?

    When is your due date?

    Ultra sound, vaginal sonogram or 3d scan?

    Have you stopped using any products since you were pregnant?

    If you what are they?

    Do you smoke?

    First time mum or not?

    How many of you wear maternity clothes?

    What do you wear?

    Where did you get your maternity clothes from?

    Thankyou for taking the time to answer this survey.
