I have a HP Officejet 6500 all in one printer/fax/scanner/copier. I am trying to scan a document to a college I am applying to and I can’t figure it out for anything. Every time I press the button START SCAN or SCAN it says “NO SCAN OPTIONS”. I have had this problem before, while scanning pictures. I have unloaded and reloaded the software several times and nothing has worked. I have figured out how to upload a pic through windows picture gallery on VISTA, but now I need to scan documents and it is VERY important that I learn how to do this. Can anyone help me? please, please, please!!! AND THANK YOU!
Let me add. I am trying to scan to MY COMPUTER and i am going to email it to the school. I do not have a land line to fax the documents. There is a way to do it, I just don’t know how. I doubt they would have the “feature” on the printer if you can’t use it.
