Highly unlikely.
My doctor some time ago wanted me to have a CT scan and when I suggested that you could get cancer from a CT scan his resonse was something like “Yes you could.” and then he proceeded to write out a referral for a CT scan (that I thought wasn’t really necessary as I had just had an ultrasound). After making an appointment for the CT scan, about 4 days afterwards I cancelled it and much to my great relief the next time I saw my doctor he didn’t ask about the CT scan and seemed to have forgotten all about it so I kept quiet about it and didn’t tell him that I had cancelled it 4 days after I made the CT scan appointment.
My impression is that doctors overprescribe CT scans as some of them seem to be besotted with and obsessed with tests and tests and more tests when often they are not really necessary and they are just testing for remote possibilities.
